Short Introduction

Mr. S. M. SabbihHossain has been teaching English language and literature as an Assistant Professor of English at City University. Mr. Hossain is an academician, a researcher and a poet. His research interests include: translation studies, literary criticism, language, social issues, comparative studies. He has 4 (four) published research papers in reputed journals, 1 (one) conference paper (India), and 1 (one) book to his credit. Besides academic responsibilities, he has been working as the member-secretary of the Research Cell, City University. He is an Executive Editor of IDEAS, A Journal of Literature Arts and Culture and a reviewer of Asian Journal of Education and Social Studies.He is a member of the PSA (Program Self-Assessment) Committee of IQAC, City University also. Mr. Hossain has also supervised Theses Papers/Dissertation and project works (of Translation Studies) of more than 100 students. On top of that, he is successfully contributing to the Cultural Club as the Moderator by arranging various cultural programs with the help of his colleagues of the department of English, City University.
